In a new study conducted by Allstate Insurance, you can expect to pay an average of $211 for a speeding ticket in over 20 Texas municipalities surveyed. Huntsville, TX tops the list at an average of $312 for a speeding ticket.

In the survey, intended to discuss auto safety for the back-to-school time, it also addresses fines for using wireless devices in school zones. These tickets regularly exceed $300.
